DEA Solicits FAA-Approved Flight Training Devices for Cessna T206H and Beechcraft King Air B300 Aircraft

The DEA Aviation Division is seeking two FAA-approved, non-motion Flight Training Devices (FTDs) for pilot training. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Aviation Division - OEMs and Vendors: - Cessna (manufacturer of T206H aircraft) - Beechcraft (manufacturer of King Air B300 aircraft) - Garmin (manufacturer of G1000 Avionics System) - Products/Services Requested: - One FTD replicating a Cessna T206H with Garmin G1000 avionics - One FTD replicating a Beechcraft King Air B300 with Garmin G1000 avionics - Both devices must include realistic cockpit replicas, FAA certification, user manuals, system diagrams, and training for operations and technical maintenance - Delivery and installation at DEA Aviation Division facility in Fort Worth, TX - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Devices must be modern, non-motion, and FAA-approved for flight training credit - Contractor must provide training for both operation and technical support - Delivery required within eight months of contract award - FAA certification and compliance with regulations is mandatory

Description

The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Aviation Division (SG) has a requirement for two (2) modem, non-motion Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved Flight Training Devices (FTD). One FTD shall be representative of a Cessna T206H with a Garmin Gl000 Avionics System and the second FTD shall be representative of a Beechcraft King Air B300 with a Garmin G 1000 Avionics System.
