The City of Charleston, WV is seeking bids for the purchase and installation of fully automatic diesel exhaust extraction systems at nine Charleston Fire Department facilities. - Government Buyer: - City of Charleston, WV - Sub-agency: Charleston Fire Department - Products Requested: - Three five-drop diesel exhaust extraction systems - Each includes five 30' sliding flex hose track assemblies, 5HP exhaust fan (min 3,300 CFM at 6 SP), wireless auto-start control panel, NEMA 4X enclosure, 12" up-blast back draft damper rain cap - Six two-drop diesel exhaust extraction systems - Each includes two 30' sliding flex hose track assemblies, 2HP exhaust fan (min 1,350 CFM at 6 SP), wireless auto-start control panel, NEMA 4X enclosure, 10" up-blast back draft damper rain cap - Hose assemblies: 5" diameter high-temp upper hose, 1,050-degree extreme high-temp lower hose section with handle, nozzle, transmitter, and pressure sensor - 27 tailpipe adapter assemblies for the CFD fleet - Class 2 spiral duct, fittings, hangers, and adjustable telescopic support legs - Services Requested: - Demolition and disposal of existing exhaust removal equipment at nine locations - Complete installation of new systems, including electrical wiring - Start-up, testing, and training for City/CFD staff - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Vendors may propose specified equipment or approved equivalents that meet/exceed performance requirements - Project funded by FEMA Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) and subject to federal requirements (2 CFR Part 200) - Installation must be completed within 182 days after purchase order - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; approved equivalents are allowed - Quantities: - 3 five-drop systems - 6 two-drop systems - 27 tailpipe adapter assemblies - Installation at 9 locations

The City of Charleston, WV is soliciting quotes for a one-time purchase and installation of fully automatic Diesel Exhaust Extraction Systems at nine Charleston Fire Department locations. The project includes demolition and disposal of existing exhaust removal equipment, supply and installation of new hose assemblies, exhaust fans, wireless controls, and tailpipe adapters. This procurement is funded in whole or in part by a FEMA Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) and is subject to federal requirements under 2 CFR Part 200.
