Description

The Regulatory Commission of Alaska seeks a contractor to develop standardized, configurable utility data models to facilitate timely and accurate reviewing and calculating of Power Cost Equalization levels across regulated and non-regulated rural electric utilities. The work includes establishing sustainable procedures and secure access systems to ensure accurate, timely annual non-fuel and periodic fuel cost calculations for all participating utilities. These services aim to streamline the Commission's PCE review and approval process, improve data reliability, and strengthen internal controls. The vendor must have at least one year of experience in financial modeling for public utilities. The total budget is not expected to exceed $100,000, and all work must be completed by August 27, 2027.
