The Department of State proposes to establish a matching program with the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Bureau of the Fiscal Service. This program aims to identify, prevent, and recover improper payments under the Do Not Pay (DNP) program. It involves verifying eligibility for monthly annuity and beneficiary payments to former Foreign Service personnel by comparing Department of State records with Treasury's DNP working system. The program will be effective 30 days after publication unless comments require modification and will remain in effect through September 10, 2029.
