Description

The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is seeking approval from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for the information collection related to the Multifamily Delinquency and Default Reporting System. This system replaces the paper form HUD92426 and requires FHA-approved multifamily lenders to electronically report delinquency, default, election to assign, and other related loan information statuses. The information is used by HUD as an early warning mechanism to work with project owners and lenders to develop plans to reinstate loans and avoid insurance claims, as well as to ensure mortgagee compliance with HUD's loan servicing procedures and assignments. Public comments are invited to improve the collection process.
