Description
The Nuclear Power Training Unit (NPTU) requires a major maintenance overhaul of its High-Pressure Air (AHP) System to maintain operational reliability, readiness, and mission support. To sustain critical operations, the multi-stage AHP compressors require an 8,000-hour major overhaul, encompassing complete teardown, component replacement, tolerance verification, and re-certification.
The Contractor shall provide all labor, certified replacement parts, tooling, and test equipment necessary to execute the 8,000-hour major overhaul on the designated AHP compressors. All maintenance, inspections, and re-certification procedures shall be performed strictly in accordance with Maintenance Requirement Card (MRC) AHP-R-2 (Rev 3) (Attachment 02). Maintenance actions must be phased to ensure continuous, redundant compressor availability throughout the period of performance.
