Description
This Request for Proposal aims to secure a professional services contract for configuring, repairing, updating, and upgrading the infrastructure, firmware, and software of the City of Irving's programmable logic controllers (PLCs), managed network switches, Multilin power monitoring and motor protection devices, and radio network. The PLC software uses the Schneider platform, EcoStruxure. Over three years, three pressure points will be updated and replaced. The City's operator interface terminal (OIT) and universal power supply (UPS) equipment will be hardened following best cybersecurity practices, and maintenance will be performed on the City's 900 MHz radio equipment as needed, with potential radio network expansion.
