Description

The solicitation is for the rental of a standard 53 ft reefer (refrigeration) trailer unit on a monthly basis for up to twelve months on an as-needed basis with no guarantee of rental. The reefer unit is intended for temporary refrigerated and/or frozen food storage at Pontiac Correctional Center and must be capable of maintaining freezer temperatures below 0 degrees F. The rental includes all equipment necessary for normal operation, routine maintenance, repair services, and emergency support. Delivery and pickup charges, including fuel surcharges, are also part of the procurement.
