The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) is seeking qualified vendors for a five-year Blanket Purchase Agreement to provide comprehensive waste collection, disposal, and composting services across the U.S. Capitol Grounds and Arboretum. - Scope includes: - Collection, disposal, and composting of general waste, food waste, and green waste - Removal and disposal of construction and demolition waste - Provision, maintenance, and cleaning of waste containers and compactors at multiple government facilities - Monthly tonnage reporting and compliance with cleaning schedules - Use of Waste-to-Energy and composting facilities within 50 miles - Equipment requirements: - Multiple compactors (6 CY to 35 CY), open top containers (15 CY to 30 CY), top load containers (8 CY), and 30 Gallon Totes - Quantities range from 1 to 8 units per item, distributed across various Capitol campus locations - Service requirements: - Kick-off meeting, transition-in and transition-out plans, monthly status reports - On-call/live load service for construction and demolition waste - Food and green waste compost collection with frequent pickups and quarterly cleaning - Performance period: - Five years total: 12-month base period (including 1-month transition-in), four 12-month option periods, 1-month transition-out, and up to 6 months extension option - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; market research is ongoing to identify qualified sources - Vendors must demonstrate technical qualifications and provide price proposals
