The Ministry of Forest is contemplating a direct award contract to Forest Professionals BC (FPBC) for the development and delivery of training to forest professionals on the application of the Forest Road Guidelines. These guidelines are a joint practice guideline between FPBC and Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC). The training requires specialized regulatory, professional-practice, and technical expertise, and FPBC plays a unique role in establishing and supporting compliance with professional practice requirements for forest professionals in British Columbia.
