The Squamish-Lillooet Regional District (SLRD), in coordination with BC Transit and the Ministry of Transportation and Transit (MoTT), is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms for the design of regional transit stop infrastructure along the Sea to Sky Highway (Highway 99) corridor within Electoral Areas C and D. The project scope includes identifying appropriate stop locations, designing each stop, preparing construction cost estimates, identifying required permits and approvals, identifying applicable grant and financial assistance programs, and compiling relevant construction standards. Each stop design must be coordinated with and approved in principle by BC Transit and MoTT before finalization.
