SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions.

Escalation Pathways: Technical readiness to provide dedicated conference bridges or on-demand Product Analysis Reports (PAR/RCFA) for repeating controller hardware failures. Authorized Caller Allocation: The total number of unique internal registered engineers or technicians allowed to open and escalate tickets. Knowledge Base Gating: Level of unlocked access to restricted Rockwell Support Center technotes, error code manuals, and hardware diagnostic firmware files. Backward Compatibility Matrix: Software eligibility to seamlessly maintain and debug legacy automation project deployments across older firmware lines, including running multiple versions of RSLogix 5000 / Studio 5000 concurrently. Firmware Access Rights: Verification that the contract permits continuous downloads of major and minor firmware revisions required to resolve hardware bugs. All subcontractors are required to register in the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov).
