Description

INDUSTRY DAY:DARPA will host an Industry Day in support of Beam-Space Analog Processing for Multifunctional Enhanced RF Systems (BEAMERS) program on September 30, 2026, located at the Strategic Analysis, Inc. Executive Conference Center (ECC), 4075 Wilson Blvd, Suite 300, Arlington, VA 22203 from 8:00am to 5:00pm ET. This event will be conducted in two parts: a government presentation portion at the SECRET level, which will comprise most of the event, and an Industry Showcase Poster Session portion at the Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) level. Both portions exclusively require advanced registration. The purpose of this event is to provide information on the BEAMERS program; promote additional discussion on this topic; address questions; and provide a forum for interested organizations to present their capabilities for teaming opportunities.PROGRAM OBJECTIVE AND DESCRIPTION: DARPA’s Strategic Technology Office invites interested organizations to attend an industry engagement for BEAMERS, an ambitious new program focused on wideband, staring electronic-support systems. Electronic support cuts across many operational needs, platforms, and environments. Warning, situational awareness, sensing, and related missions impose different requirements for coverage, sensitivity, latency, dynamic range, size, weight, power, and processing. Staring architectures make a large amount of information available continuously. A successful system cannot assume that every beam, frequency channel, and polarization output will be digitized, transported, and processed at full fidelity. BEAMERS emphasizes architectures that maintain persistent awareness, organize and reduce the available analog information, recognize signals of potential interest, and route selected observations to digitization. Required expertise includes analog beamspace processing using lenses, gradient-index structures, phased-array-fed lenses, and related spatial-transform technologies; integrated radio frequency (RF) and microwave photonics; wideband channelization; event detection and information reduction; switching; and data movement. Organizations interested in performing as Prime and nontraditional technology providers are encouraged to attend, identify complementary capabilities, and consider teaming arrangements.
