The Town of New Milford Public Works Department is seeking bids for the supply and delivery of aggregates, concrete, and earth products for municipal projects. - Government Buyer: - Town of New Milford Public Works Department - Road Design Engineer: Chuck Ballard - Products Requested: - Aggregates: bank run gravel, processed gravel (including 1" and non-standard), crushed stone (various sizes), washed stone, rip rap (light, medium, heavy, rounded), mason sand, beach sand, winter sand (estimated 500 tons) - Concrete: Portland cement concrete (PCC04462), with and without ground glass pozzolan - Flowable fill (low strength, <150psi) - Screened topsoil, stone dust - Technical Requirements: - All materials must meet Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) Form 819 Standard Specifications - Bidders must have at least five years' experience supplying earth products to municipalities or CT DOT - Material certifications, sieve tests for winter sand, and compliance with OSHA and CT DEEP regulations required - Emergency delivery capability for winter sand (within 24 hours) - The Town reserves the right to test materials at any time - Delivery Locations: - DPW yard at 6 Young’s Field Road, 533 Danbury Road, and other sites in New Milford, CT - Contract Details: - One-year contract with option to extend for two additional years - Town may award contract in full or by individual items; actual purchase quantities may vary

The Town of New Milford is soliciting competitive bids from qualified firms for aggregates, concrete and earth products. The contract requires suppliers to provide materials meeting Connecticut Department of Transportation standards, with delivery primarily to specified locations in New Milford, CT. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in part or in whole.
