Description
The Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) is soliciting proposals for social-emotional learning (SEL) and life skills services for at-promise youth in foster care ages 11-21 residing in Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Programs (STRTPs) across Los Angeles County Supervisorial Districts 1 through 5. The services should be trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and evidence-based, aiming to improve youth engagement and progress toward academic, social-emotional, well-being, life skills, career, and postsecondary goals. The contract will be an indefinite-quantity agreement with no guaranteed minimum, initially for one year with up to four one-year renewals. LACOE seeks to select one or more qualified vendors to provide on-site, in-home/STRTP, or LACOE-facility workshops, activities, and services, and maintain an active pool of qualified vendors for future needs.
