The NRCS Wyoming State Office, in coordination with the U.S. Forest Service and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, is rescinding the notice of intent to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for the West Fork Battle Creek Watershed Project in Carbon County, Wyoming. The original notice was published on December 28, 2022. The rescission is due to the notice being issued prior to confirming viable alternatives and the need for an EIS. The watershed planning process will continue to determine if an EIS is necessary.
