Description
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is proposing an extension without change of a currently approved information collection related to the Application for Action on an Approved Application or Petition (Form I-824). This collection is used primarily by individuals or households to request a duplicate approval notice or to notify and verify with the U.S. Consulate that a petition has been approved or that a person has been adjusted to permanent resident status. The estimated total number of respondents is 10,571 with an average response time of 0.237 hours. The total estimated annual burden is 2,505 hours with an estimated annual cost burden of $1,361,016. Comments on this collection are accepted until November 13, 2026.
