Desription of Work
This non-personal services contract requires the contractor to provide all necessary personnel, equipment, materials, and labor to remove and replace 16 nonfunctional ductless heat pump A/C systems with new, cooling-only split A/C systems. The work will take place across multiple First Special Forces Group (Airborne) headquarters and augmentation facilities (Buildings 9160/9162, 9190, 9934, and 9983) to establish optimal operational temperatures for critical computer and communication systems. The contractor operates independently under its own supervision, remaining fully accountable to the Government for meeting all performance standards.
The scope of work includes disconnecting and reconnecting power and refrigerant lines, removing and disposing of the nonworking units, and installing and testing the new cooling-only units. Additionally, the contractor must add external condensation pumps, purge and test existing drain lines, and replace them as needed. The designated period of performance for this mission-critical climate control upgrade is scheduled from September 28, 2026, to November 12, 2026.
