This opportunity is for qualified plumbing contractors to provide on-demand maintenance, repair, and renovation services for UT MD Anderson Cancer Center campuses in Houston. - Government Buyer: - The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (UT MD Anderson Cancer Center - 506) - Scope of Services: - Installation and repair of domestic water lines - Installation and repair of main sanitary sewer lines and branches - Installation and repair of storm sewer lines - Testing and repair of MD Anderson owned backflow preventers - Installation and repair of natural gas lines - Installation and repair of medical gas lines - Requirements: - Contractors must supply all labor, equipment, parts, and materials - Licensed plumbers required; medical gas certified plumbers for relevant projects - Emergency service calls: response within two hours - Routine service calls: response within three to four hours; completion within twenty-four hours unless extended - Contractor employees must complete annual MD Anderson training and badging - Contract Structure: - Indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ); purchase orders issued as needed - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; opportunity is open to qualified plumbing contractors - Unique Requirements: - Medical gas certification for plumbers - Strict response times for emergency and routine calls - Annual training and badging for contractor employees

Description

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a qualified plumbing contractor to provide miscellaneous campus building maintenance, repair, or renovation services as-needed. Services include domestic water line installation and repair, main sanitary sewer line and branches installation and repair, storm sewer line installation and repair, testing and repair of MD Anderson owned backflow preventer, natural gas line installation and repair, and med gas line installation and repair. The contract is for indefinite delivery and indefinite quantity, with purchase orders issued as needed. The contractor must provide licensed personnel and respond to emergency and routine service calls within specified timeframes.
