This RFQ is for NAVY repair. Repair Turnaround Time (RTAT): the contractual delivery requirement is measured from asset return to the date of asset acceptance under the contract. Return is defined as the physical receipt of the F-condition asset at the contractor's facility as reflected in the Action Date in the Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV) system. The contractor must report all transactions by the end of the fifth business day after receipt, and the Action Date in CAV must reflect the actual receipt date. The contractor must obtain final inspection and acceptance by the government for all assets within the RTATs. This RFQ is for repair. NAVSUP WSS requests contractors submit a quote with a firm-fixed price. Quotes should be emailed to michael.j.keith40.civ@us.navy.mil and received on or before the closing date listed on page 1 of the solicitation. This contract/delivery order/purchase order/modification is issued by the Government when deposited in the mail, transmitted by facsimile, or sent by any electronic method, including email. The Government's acceptance of the proposal constitutes a bilateral agreement. 1. Scope Articles to be furnished shall be repaired, tested, and inspected per the terms in the Requirements Section. Equipment such as fixtures, jigs, dies, patterns, and test equipment required for manufacture/testing will not be provided by the Government unless expressly stated. The use of MIL-W-81381 wire is prohibited; SAE-AS22759 series wire shall be used instead. If MIL-STD-454 is referenced, compliance with IPC/EIAJ-STD-001C is expected, with personnel trained and certified accordingly. Markings shall comply with MIL-STD-130. 2. Applicable Documents Not applicable. 3. Requirements General Establishes repair and testing/inspection criteria for the item. Definitions Contractor: the successful offeror awarded the contract. Overhaul: disassembled, cleaned, inspected, repaired, reassembled, tested, and returned to a ready condition. Repair: restored to a ready condition, repaired, and tested per the repair manual. Scope Items shall be overhauled, upgraded, repaired, tested, inspected, and accepted per the contract terms. Repair/upgrade requirements specify returning items to a ready for issue (RFI) condition. All repairs/upgrades must be performed at the designated facility. Changes to manuals, drawings, or specifications require PCO approval.
