Dallas Independent School District is seeking water treatment services and related products for district-wide use on an as-needed basis. - Buyer: Dallas Independent School District (DISD) - Scope includes: - Water treatment services (purification and softening) - Water treatment-related products such as: - Coolers, drinking water fountains - Portable chilled water systems - Chilled water meter systems - Coils for chilled/heated water and direct expansion - Controls for cooling tower water treatment (pH, conductivity, corrosion sensors) - Cooling tower water treatment equipment (non-chemical ozone, centrifugal separators, magnetic descaling) - Unit heaters (steam and hot water types) - Household and commercial water softeners - Water purification apparatus and treatments - Water treating chemicals (algae/microbe control, boiler water treatment, corrosion, scale, sludge control) - Water testing kits (chlorine, hardness, pH, etc.) - Complete water treatment systems (chemical and nonchemical) - Filtration equipment and accessories - Water meters and fittings - Removal equipment for ammonia, bacterial, iron, etc. - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Notable requirements: - Compliance with Title 2 of the Code of Federal Regulations (2CFR) Part 200 - Ability to serve district-wide needs on an as-needed basis - Vendors may be sole source providers - Contract term: Three years, with two possible one-year extensions (maximum five years) - Funding: Federal, state, local, and grant funds permitted

Description

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued to procure water treatment services for district-wide use on an as-needed basis. The contract term is three years with two successive one-year extensions, not to exceed five years total. The procurement complies with Title 2 of the Code of Federal Regulations (2CFR) Part 200 for vendors providing goods or services purchased using federal dollars. Vendors are encouraged to participate, including sole source providers.
