FEMA Region 6 is seeking contractors for a comprehensive renovation of its Regional Watch Center at the Federal Regional Center in Denton, TX. - Government Buyer: - Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Region 6 Mission Support Division, MSD / Admin Services Branch - Scope of Work: - Design-build renovation services for the Watch Center, Logistics, and MAM areas - Includes planning, site survey, hazardous material testing and abatement, selective demolition, architectural buildout, acoustic and ceiling treatments, floor patching, finishes, doors, frames, hardware, HVAC testing and adjustment, electrical and lighting modifications, fire protection and life safety upgrades, security construction support, and documentation - Daily and final cleanup, as-built drawings, warranties, and project closeout - Bond and insurance requirements (3% of total contract value) - Phased Construction: - Phase 1: Watch Center and secure conference room buildout with IT, security, and acoustic enhancements - Phase 2: Wall removals, door installations, utility relocations, and finish restorations - Unique Requirements: - Compliance with federal safety, environmental, and security standards - Background investigations and training for contractor personnel - Crew must include certified and cleared specialists (project management, engineering, construction, electrical, HVAC, fire protection, IT, environmental, QA/QC, safety) - No specific OEMs, part numbers, or hardware products are listed; all services are requested as single units - Set aside for Women-Owned Small Businesses (WOSB) - Firm Fixed Price contract - Period of performance is up to 250 federal workdays, limited to weekdays, excluding weekends and federal holidays unless approved

This project is to construct and renovate the FEMA Region 6 Federal Regional Center, 800 N Loop 288, Denton, TX. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, parts, and supplies that are necessary to complete the requirement IAW the Statement of Objectives.
