Description

Westchester County is requesting proposals from qualified vendors for a pilot program to develop, deploy, and operate a microtransit service in the Peekskill service area. The successful proposer will develop operational, outreach, and metric tracking plans, and provide a turnkey, fully electric, on-demand, app-based, shared-ride microtransit system in compliance with grant funding from NYSERDA. The contract includes project management, community engagement, service launch, and optimization tasks. Proposals are due by November 4, 2026, and a pre-bid meeting is scheduled for September 11, 2026.
