The Department of Children and Families (DCF), Substance Abuse and Mental Health (SAMH) is seeking a qualified respondent to provide high-quality facility-based forensic mental health services to adults and juveniles adjudicated as adults, committed under Chapter 916, Florida Statutes, as either Incompetent to Proceed (ITP) or not guilty by reason of insanity (NGI). Services will be provided at the state-owned South Florida Evaluation and Treatment Center (SFETC) in Florida City. The scope includes full operation of the facility, including management, operations, facility maintenance, and integration of security with substance abuse and mental health treatment within the legislatively appropriated budget.
