USDA APHIS Utah Field Station is seeking quotations for the supply and installation of HDPE bird netting to contain ravens in rabbit pens. - Government Buyer: - United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Wildlife Services, National Wildlife Research Center (NWRC), Utah Field Station - Products Requested: - HDPE Bird Netting (Brand Name or Equal to Bird B Gone) - UV-stabilized, knotted polyethylene - Flame-resistant, rot-proof, non-conductive, weather-resistant - Stable in sub-zero temperatures - 10-year warranty against manufacturer's defects and UV breakdown - Quantity: 6 units (total from attachments) - Galvanized Cabling and Net-Rings (for installation) - Shipping/Freight (1 unit) - Services Requested: - Installation of bird netting over existing pen frameworks - Removal of chain link on middle dividers - Securing netting to fence and central building - Ensuring containment of ravens and similar sized birds - OEMs Highlighted: - Bird B Gone (specified as Brand Name or Equal) - Unique Requirements: - All products must meet the technical specifications and warranty requirements - Delivery lead times must be provided; preference for shortest shipment time - Pricing must include all costs (overhead, profit, insurance, transportation, training, support, warranty, delivery) - Contractors must be registered in SAM prior to award - Installation must ensure containment and durability under weather and snow load conditions

Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 12639526Q0303 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for HDPE Bird Netting.

This acquisition is set aside for small business concerns.  This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference.  The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.

The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 326199- Other Plastic Products Manufacturing.  The small business size standard is 750 employees. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
