NIST is seeking routine and preventive electrical maintenance services for its Gaithersburg, MD campus under an Energy Savings Performance Contract for the CHP Plant Addition. - Government Buyer: - National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Acquisition Management Division - OEMs and Vendors: - Schneider Electric (OEM lubricants specified) - Products Requested: - Mobilux EP 1 Lubricant (Schneider Electric, part number 1615-100790) - Mobilgrease 28 Lubricant (Schneider Electric, part number 1615-100950) - Services Requested: - Routine and preventive maintenance for: - 4160 Volt Switchgear SG4001 - 480 Volt Motor Control Center MCC-7 - 4160V to 13.2 kV Step-up Transformer TL-1301 - 4160V to 480V Dry Type Transformer TD-4001 - Tasks include inspection, cleaning, lubrication, testing, component replacement, and coordination with OEMs - Unique Requirements: - Maintenance must follow detailed schedules and OEM guidelines - Specific lubricants and parts from Schneider Electric are required - Testing intervals range from daily to multi-year, with some tasks scheduled every 12, 24, 36, or 60 months - Services include advanced diagnostics (infrared scanning, hi-pot testing, resistance measurement, DGA, insulation resistance, turns ratio, and core megger testing) - All technical details and requirements are provided in the attached RFQ and supporting documents.
