MINERAL SEPARATION SERVICESREQUEST FOR QUOTEINTRODUCTIONThis is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This acquisition is available for full and open competition. DESCRIPTIONThe US Geological Survey - Geology, Energy and Minerals Science Center in Reston, VA, requires Mineral Separation Services as described in the attached Statement of Work.RELEVENT INFORMATIONThe North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541380, Testing Laboratories, applies to this announcement, along with Product Service Code B517, Special Studies/Analysis-Geological. This service is subject to the Service Contract Labor Standards Wage Determinations.All questions must be sent directly to lynnmarie_applegate@ios.doi.gov by 09/15/2026 at 0800 PDT.
