Description
This is a special notice for a commercial product requirement. The Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Estill is seeking an OP2D 3D Pan Upgradable dental imaging system. The required procurement includes complete installation of the new system, as well as the removal and disposal of the existing equipment. All contracted services must fully comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Estimated Value: Approximately $25,000 (below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $350,000).

This acquisition will use simplified procedures for commercial services at or below the SAT. In accordance with RFO FAR 12.201-1(c)(2), the contracting officer intends to solicit quotations directly from suppliers rather than post a full solicitation/RFQ on SAM.gov.
When using this direct solicitation method:
1. A presolicitation notice must be posted in the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE) per Subpart 5.1, unless an exception in 5.101(b) applies. 2. Quotations must be solicited from a minimum of three sources. 3. Whenever practicable, solicitations should include at least two sources not contacted in the previous solicitation.
No separate written solicitation will be posted on SAM.gov. Quotations will be requested directly from selected sources after this notice. All responsible sources may submit a quotation if contacted by the contracting officer.
Important Note: This announcement serves only as the presolicitation notice. Quotes are not being accepted in response to this notice. Interested parties should not submit unsolicited quotes or proposals at this time.
