Brooke Army Medical Center, part of the Defense Health Agency, is seeking the supply and installation of Automated Endoscope Reprocessors (AERs) and related accessories for its endoscopy department. - Government Buyer: - Defense Health Agency (DHA), Brooke Army Medical Center, HCD South - OEMs and Vendors: - Olympus (existing equipment referenced; new AERs must be compatible with Olympus endoscopes) - Products Requested: - 5 Automated Endoscope Reprocessors (AERs) - 12 deinstallations of existing Olympus OER Pro/Elite systems - Installation of new AERs - Trade-in and disposal services for replaced equipment - Ancillary equipment: hookup storage racks, barcode tracking systems, spill kits, printer systems, test strips, sterilization chemicals, cleaning concentrates, and various hookup assemblies for Olympus endoscopes - Automated compact peristaltic flushing systems and accessories for manual cleaning - Comprehensive initial on-site clinical applications training and competency validation - Unique/Notable Requirements: - AERs must be FDA 510(k) cleared and meet infection prevention standards - Compatibility with Olympus GI, flexible, specialty, and ultrasound endoscopes - Delivery and installation required by contract deadline - Includes both product supply and installation, as well as removal and disposal of existing equipment - Initial training for endoscopy staff included - Standard commercial warranty (one year) and potential maintenance contracts

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. 

Solicitation number HT940826QE040 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) for the provision and installation of automated endoscope reprocessors (AERs), as well as the deinstallation of existing reprocessors, at Brooke Army Medical Center, Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, Texas 78234.
