The USDA National Agricultural Library (NAL), Indexing & Informatics Branch is seeking continued support and integration services for the VocBench open-source platform and NALTerms vocabulary management system. - Government Buyer: - United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) - National Agricultural Library (NAL), Indexing & Informatics Branch (DPD) - Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Contracting Operations Branch/Acquisition and Property Division - OEMs and Vendors: - Lore Star S.R.L. (incumbent contractor and developer of NAL's ontology workflows) - Products/Services Requested: - VocBench Support and NALTerms Integration - Ongoing operational support, migration assistance, configuration maintenance, troubleshooting, user access administration, and editorial workflow support - Training services for new features, workflows, and administrative options - Optional professional services/development for up to five days annually (workflow improvements, automation, enhanced input/output, visualization, quality-control pipelines) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Migration support to cloud servers - Response to support requests within two business days - Training delivered virtually as needed - Optional development services performed upon government request - Continuity of service and preservation of government investment due to incumbent's specialized expertise - Contract Structure: - One-year base period with four one-year option periods (total up to five years) - Option to extend services for up to six months beyond any period of performance - Firm fixed price contract - No product part numbers or quantities specified; services are the primary focus.

Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 1232SA26Q1461 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for VocBench Support and NALTerms Integration consisting of one (1) one-year base period and four (4) one-year option periods and an Optional Item - Professional Services / Development; up to five (5) days in accordance with requirements as outlined in attached Statement of Work (SOW).  The total duration of this contract shall not exceed five (5) years..

This acquisition  is not set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 541511.  The small business size standard is $34.0 Mil.  This acquisition is an unrestricted requirement.   All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
