The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is requesting public comments on a proposed revision of Voluntary Product Standard PS 2-25, which establishes physical properties and structural performance criteria for wood structural panels used primarily for construction sheathing and single floor applications. The revision was coordinated by the APA--The Engineered Wood Association and approved by the PS 2 Standing Committee. The standard aims to provide a common understanding among manufacturers, distributors, and users of these wood structural panels. Comments are invited to be submitted to NIST by October 13, 2026.
