Description
The Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is publishing two Iran-related general licenses (GLs): GLs CC and DD. These licenses authorize certain transactions otherwise prohibited by Executive Order 13902 and the Iranian Transactions and Sanctions Regulations (ITSR) that are necessary to wind down transactions involving certain blocked persons and previously authorized transactions. GL CC was issued on September 4, 2026, and authorizes wind down transactions through September 19, 2026. GL DD was issued on September 8, 2026, and authorizes wind down transactions through September 23, 2026. Both licenses were previously made available on OFAC's website upon issuance.
