Description

The Coast Guard will enforce special local regulations at one location in the Sector Columbia River Captain of the Port Zone in Portland, OR, during September 12-13, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. This enforcement is to ensure safety during marine events, specifically the Portland Dragon Boat Races. Vessel operators must comply with directions from patrol officials and regulations in 33 CFR 100.1302 will be enforced. The regulated area includes the western side of the Willamette River extending from Tom McCall Waterfront Park between the Hawthorne and Marquam Bridges.
