Description

The City of Vallejo is seeking a Special Counsel to provide legal advisory services related to the Police Oversight and Accountability Commission (POAC). The scope includes reviewing POAC agenda items for compliance with the Ralph M. Brown Act and other laws, attending and advising at POAC meetings including closed sessions, and providing legal advice on police disciplinary matters, powers and duties of the POAC and law enforcement officers, and civilian oversight of police.
