Regina Public Library is seeking a qualified service provider for comprehensive snow clearing and removal services across multiple library locations. - Government Buyer: - Regina Public Library - Contact: Brian Klenk, Director of Facilities, Infrastructure and Services - Services Requested: - Snow clearing and removal from parking lots, sidewalks, steps, and entrances at Central Library, Connaught Branch, Glen Elm Branch, Sherwood Village Branch, and other RPL sites - Application of sand/ice melt - Clearing to be performed seven days a week, primarily when libraries are closed - Timely response required: service must be completed within 24-48 hours of snow accumulation or notification - Equipment Requirements: - Use of skid steer, tandem/dump truck, snow blower, and possibly pay loader - Contract Details: - Initial period of two years, with an option to extend for one additional year - No specific OEMs or equipment brands are mandated; vendors may propose suitable equipment - Unique Requirements: - Service provider must be able to deliver snow clearing and removal at multiple locations with rapid response times - Work is primarily scheduled outside library operating hours

Description

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued by the Regina Public Library to select a highly qualified and experienced service provider for snow clearing and removal services. The contract period is for 2 years starting November 1, 2026, with an option to extend for an additional year. Services include snow clearing and removal from select Regina Public Library parking lots and sidewalks, as well as applying sand/ice melt and clearing sidewalks, steps, and entrances. The service is required seven days a week, primarily when libraries are closed unless otherwise directed.
