Description
The Shrewsbury Electric and Cable Operations (SELCO) department invites sealed bids for the Fiber to the Premises (FTTP) Network Upgrade within a designated node, Phase 4. The project includes all labor, materials, and equipment to complete and install a fully functioning fiber network, including signal transmission lateral fiber optic cables from SELCO's existing backbone fiber ring to identified splitter cabinets, signal distribution lateral fiber optic cables from splitter cabinets to predetermined fiber access points, fiber optic cable splicing, and pre- and post-installation testing. SELCO will provide some required materials, and the project site locations consist of various public and private ways in the Town of Shrewsbury as indicated in the design drawings. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for September 23, 2026, and bids are due by September 29, 2026.
