The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD), Long Island DDSOO, is seeking qualified contractors for gutter guard installation at residential properties in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. - Government Buyer: - Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD), Long Island Developmental Disabilities State Operations Office, Contract Management Unit - Products/Services Requested: - Installation of approximately 24,000 linear feet of heavy-duty Amerimax metal lock-in gutter guards (or approved equal) - Removal of existing gutter guards - Clearing of debris from gutters - Replacement of damaged gutter components - All labor and materials included - OEMs and Vendors: - Amerimax (specified as the reference OEM for gutter guards; "or equal" alternatives permitted) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractors must be Empire State Development Corporation certified MWBE, NYS OGS SDVOB, or NYS Small Businesses - Compliance with NYS building codes, OSHA regulations, and prevailing wage laws is mandatory - Work must be completed within 60 working days of contract approval - Contractor must verify all measurements and quantities on site - Only one award will be made, and eligible vendors must provide references, demonstrate experience, and meet insurance and financial requirements - Registration with NYS Department of Labor and submission of Certificate of Contractor Registration required for Article 8 projects
