This opportunity is for maintenance, inspection, and repair services for five aircraft metal roof sunshades at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Langley Air Force Base, Virginia. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force, 1st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, and 633 CONS LGCP at Langley AFB - Key contacts: Darian Price, Vanity Wright - Scope of Work: - Semi-annual and quarterly inspections of metal sunshades - Preventive maintenance and repairs, including emergency and urgent response - Services cover structural components, electrical systems, LED lighting, bird nesting mitigation, lightning protection, obstruction lighting, safety reflective devices, fall protection, and attached features - Contractor must provide all equipment, tools, materials, parts, vehicles, personnel, labor, supervision, and management - All work must comply with OEM specifications, industry standards, and applicable Federal, State, and local codes, including Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) and Unified Facility Guide Specifications (UFGS) - Deliverables: - Inspection reports, maintenance documentation, quality control plans, personnel listings, and spill containment plans - Contract Structure: - Firm fixed-price contract with a base year and four one-year option periods - Plug-in value for repairs: $70,000 per year, not to exceed - Unique Requirements: - Adherence to OEM specifications and military/federal standards - Small business participation emphasized - Defined response times for emergency and urgent repairs - No specific OEMs or product part numbers are named; services must be performed per original manufacturer standards.

Description

The contractor shall provide all equipment, tools, materials, parts, vehicles, personnel, labor, supervision, and management to perform inspections and maintenance including all repair services to five aircraft metal roof sunshades on Joint Base Langley- Eustis (JBLE), Langley Air Force Base (AFB), Virginia (VA), to include but not limited to: structure LED lights, bird nesting mitigation, lightning protection inspection, obstruction lighting, safety reflective devices, fall protection and any other attached features. The contractor shall perform inspections, maintenance and repairs in accordance with (IAW) original equipment manufacturers (OEM) specifications, procedures, industry standards, or best practices, (in that order), and in accordance with applicable Federal, State and local building codes and regulations or equivalent military standard Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) and Unified Facility Guide Specifications (UFGS).
