This opportunity from the US Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, is for the supply and delivery of ready-mix concrete and related materials/services to the Shady Creek Ranger Building in Muscatine, Iowa. - Procurement Details: - Up to 200 cubic yards of 4,500 PSI ready-mix concrete (air entrainment 5-7%, minimum 5 yards per delivery) - Winter service for concrete delivery (charged only if necessary, Nov 15, 2026 to Mar 31, 2027) - 1,000 tons of 1 1/2" down aggregate base (CA6 or equivalent, not state certified) - 400 tons of lime screenings - Placement truck services (pumper or belt truck with operator, capable of placing concrete up to 120 feet, hourly rate includes travel, set-up, and tear-down) - Delivery radius limited to 35 miles from site - Vendors must submit quotes using the bid schedule in the attached statement of work - Only quotes lower than those from current Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) holders will be considered - Contract performance period: Nov 15, 2026 to May 31, 2027 (winter service Nov 15, 2026 to Mar 31, 2027) - Working days: Monday through Thursday, 8 AM to 4 PM CST, excluding holidays - No specific OEMs or vendors named; open to qualified suppliers - All awards will follow attached purchase order terms

Description

The US Army Corps of Engineers – Rock Island District has a requirement for the purchase and delivery of ready-mix concrete to Shady Creek Ranger Building, Muscatine, IA. A call order was issued via email to all current blanket purchase agreement (BPA) holders to submit quotes on September 18, 2026, 02:00 pm CDT.  In accordance with RFO FAR 5.101(a)(1) proposed contract actions expected to exceed $20,000 must be disseminated by synopsizing in the Governmentwide point of entry, which is https://www.sam.gov.

Interested vendors may submit a quote by completing the bid schedule in the attached statement of work and sending it to the email contacts listed below before the deadline posted on this notice.

Unless a quote received via this notice is less than the lowest priced offer received from the BPA holders, quotes submitted in response to this notice will not be considered for award.

In the unlikely event that an award is made from response to this notice the terms and conditions would be similar to the Concrete Purchase Order Terms found in the Attachments/Links section below.
