NASA Johnson Space Center is seeking vendors capable of providing two complete Atlas APA-2 Winch Mod systems to support astronaut testing and Artemis crew operations. - Procurement is for two Atlas APA-2 Winch Mod kits (Kit PN 19785) - Each kit includes: - APA-2 Winch Mod Body (PN 19786) - Standard Battery (PN 01489) - Battery Charger (PN 01493) - Remote Control (PN 19787) - Winches must have: - 850-pound personnel-rated hauling capacity - Redundant braking systems - Emergency mechanical descent capability - Remote control operation - Compliance with ANSI Z359.4-2013, ANSI Z117.1-2022, OSHA 1926.502, OSHA 1910.140, and OSHA 1910.66 safety standards - Planned as a sole source contract to ATLAS DEVICES, LLC - Delivery required within 30 days after order receipt, no later than October 1, 2026 - 12-month manufacturer's warranty upon delivery and acceptance - Place of performance: Houston, Texas (Johnson Space Center) - NAICS code: 332999 - NASA requests capability statements by September 15, 2026 - Intended use: COASTER program for astronaut testing and Artemis crew operations
