Description

The purpose of this acquisition is to have Health Effects Laboratory Division (HELD) centrifuges undergo preventative maintenance and calibration. Regular calibration of centrifuges is essential because it ensures that rotational speed, temperature control (when applicable), and timing functions remain accurate, which directly affects the reliability and reproducibility of experimental results. The vendor shall perform visual and functional checks for rotor condition, imbalance indicators, lid locks, refrigeration performance (where applicable), and overall mechanical integrity.  Key parameters will be calibrated according to International Standard Organization (ISO) 17025 standards.
