Description
Notice of Intent for Sole Source The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in Research Triangle Park (RTP) in Durham, North Carolina intends to award, on a sole source basis, to Peak Scientific Inc in accordance with RFO 6.103-1(b) to purchase Protective EMA for government-owned Peak Scientific Genius XE35 nitrogen (2) and Precision SL200 hydrogen (1) generators to keep systems operational and provide sufficient gas supply to attached analytical instrumentation. This procurement is recommended to be processed without full and open competition.
EPA’s Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention Office of Mission Critical Operations, Risk Assessment Support Division’s Laboratory is needing a Protective equipment maintenance agreement (EMA) for the government-owned Peak Scientific Genius XE35 nitrogen (2) and Precision SL200 hydrogen (1) generators to keep systems operational and provide sufficient gas supply to attached analytical instrumentation.
The Peak Scientific Inc Protective EMA shall include:
One (1) on-site annual Preventive Maintenance visit by a Factory Trained Service Engineer as scheduled by EPA POC listed in Section VII. Full coverage of all maintenance parts, labor, and engineer travel charges. Preventive replacement and/or repair of worn parts (i.e. compressor) when required. Technical support with priority response of 5 working days for any breakdown or repair services requested. Access to online technical support.
