Description
The City of Atlanta is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced offerors for the replacement of the existing Marietta Road Bridge over the former CSX Tilford Yard. The existing bridge is a weight-limited, 423.5 feet long, 5-span concrete box beam bridge built in 1971. The project scope includes constructing a new bridge structure, pavement, curb and gutter, and continuous 5-foot sidewalks on both sides of the bridge, as well as along Marietta Road from the south of the bridge to Perry Boulevard/West Marietta Street (approximately 0.8 miles). This solicitation follows the City of Atlanta Code of Ordinances and applicable federal regulations.
