The Mississippi Department of Mental Health (DMH), Division of Outreach and Training, is seeking a qualified provider to deliver LivingWorks suicide prevention training and support services statewide. - Government Buyer: - Mississippi Department of Mental Health (DMH), Division of Outreach and Training - OEM Highlight: - LivingWorks is the sole Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for all training curricula, materials, and certification referenced - Vendors: - Only organizations authorized to deliver LivingWorks programs are eligible - Products and Materials Requested: - Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) participant and trainer materials - safeTALK participant and trainer materials - Training for Trainers (T4T) materials, including trainer-candidate kits and faculty resources - Official LivingWorks workbooks, manuals, certificates, handouts, presentation resources, and kits - Services Requested: - Delivery and support of ASIST and safeTALK training statewide - Training for Trainers (T4T) delivery to expand the pool of qualified trainers - Ongoing trainer mentoring, coaching, and technical assistance - Project coordination, technical assistance, and reporting to DMH - Unique Requirements: - Provider must maintain fidelity to LivingWorks program standards - All training materials must be official LivingWorks products - Vendor must offer technical assistance, structured mentoring, and comprehensive reporting - Only authorized LivingWorks providers may deliver and certify trainings - Goal: - Expand Mississippi's capacity to identify and respond to individuals at risk of suicide by increasing the number of trained professionals and community members

Description

The Mississippi Department of Mental Health (DMH) is seeking a qualified organization to provide LivingWorks suicide prevention training and related implementation support. The services include Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), safeTALK, Training for Trainers (T4T), trainer mentoring, and provision of training materials. The project aims to expand statewide capacity to identify and respond to individuals experiencing suicidal thoughts by increasing the number of trained community members and professionals. The contract period is from October 8, 2026, to September 27, 2027, with a proposal submission deadline of September 14, 2026.
