Pierce County Human Services is seeking information from organizations capable of operating and developing tiny home villages and non-congregate transitional housing for vulnerable populations. - Government Buyer: - Pierce County Human Services, Tacoma, WA - Requested Services: - Management and operation of tiny home villages and transitional housing - Includes site staffing, participant intake, property management, security, maintenance, janitorial, common area management, meals, transportation, enforcement, and emergency response - Provision or coordination of supportive services - Case management, housing navigation, behavioral health, substance use treatment, reentry services, employment, benefits enrollment, life skills, and other supportive services - Optional participation in site identification and development - Infrastructure improvements: water, sewer, electrical, hygiene facilities, laundry, kitchen, community space, security, fencing, waste collection - No specific OEMs or vendors are mentioned - Unique Requirements: - Respondents may propose integrated development and operations models - Sites with access to transportation and community resources are preferred - Respondents may provide or identify sites, develop County-provided property, or join development teams - The RFI is for information gathering and planning; no contract or award is guaranteed

Pierce County is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to gather information from organizations or project teams capable of managing and operating tiny home villages and other non-congregate transitional housing. The County seeks to understand the populations served, operating and service models, scale feasibility, costs, funding sources, and conditions for successful operation. Additionally, the County is interested in respondents with capacity or interest in site identification and development, including providing or identifying sites and participating in development teams. The RFI aims to explore integrated development and operations models to better align site development with population needs and supportive services.
