Description

The Carl Vinson VA Medical Center is committed to providing Veterans with evidence based, non-pharmacologic treatment options that align with the national initiative through the Pain Management Opioid Safety and Prescription Drug monitoring Program (PMOP) office supporting the use of virtual reality (VR) within pain management teams.

CVVAMC requires a therapeutic virtual reality system capable of delivering immersive experiences designed to assist with pain distraction, guided relaxation, mindfulness, stress reduction, and emotional wellness. The system will support interdisciplinary pain management efforts by providing Veterans with an additional non-opioid modality to enhance comfort and improve the overall patient experience.

The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, software subscriptions, licensing, accessories, shipping, training, warranty support, and technical assistance necessary to furnish a complete therapeutic virtual reality system designed to support non-pharmacologic pain management for Veterans receiving care at Carl Vinson VA Medical Center.
