Finalization of Flood Hazard Determinations for Multiple Communities

Description

This notice finalizes new or modified flood hazard determinations including Base Flood Elevations (BFEs), base flood depths, Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA) boundaries or zone designations, and regulatory floodways as shown on Letters of Map Revision (LOMR) for various communities. These revisions update the Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) and, in some cases, the Flood Insurance Study (FIS) reports currently in effect. The determinations are made pursuant to the Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973 and the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968. The updated flood hazard information is used to meet floodplain management requirements for communities participating in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).
