The City of Calgary is seeking qualified Construction Management bidders through a Request for Proposal process to deliver both a temporary and a permanent fire station in Yorkville. The permanent fire station will be approximately 1,400 sqm (15,000 sqft) and is expected to be operational by February 2029. An interim temporary fire station is required to be operational by October 2027 to ensure timely emergency services during the transition. The project site is a 0.68-hectare parcel at Yorkville Way SW and Yorklyn Manor SW, Calgary. The scope includes pre-construction activities and construction services for both stations, with the temporary station to be removed once the permanent station is operational.
