Description
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is submitting an information collection request to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and clearance under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. This notice allows an additional 30 days for public comments on the revision of the currently approved E-Verify Program collection. The E-Verify Program is a web-based system that allows employers to electronically confirm the employment eligibility of newly hired employees. The estimated total annual burden for this collection is over 2 million hours with an associated cost burden of approximately $1.9 million.
