Description
The U.S. Department of Commerce preliminarily determines that producers/exporters of certain cased pencils from the People's Republic of China made sales at less than normal value during the period of review from December 1, 2024, through November 30, 2025. The review covers cased pencils which are writing or drawing instruments with cores encased in wood or man-made materials, excluding mechanical pencils and other specified types. Four companies failed to submit required separate rate applications and are preliminarily considered part of the China-wide entity subject to a 114.90 percent antidumping duty rate. Interested parties are invited to comment on these preliminary results.
